Glendale Municipal Airport South Apron Phases 1 and 2

Dibble CM provided construction inspection services for Phases 1 and 2 of the South Apron rehabilitation project at Glendale Municipal Airport (GEU). This project rehabilitated the asphalt concrete apron in multiple phases. These projects involved the reconstruction of over 100,000 SY of pavement, which included improved grading and drainage, updates to geometry to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards, new lighting and signage, and improvements to underground utilities.

In Phase 1, the South Apron was reconstructed, including the R3 Connector between the South Apron and parallel Taxiway A.

In Phase 2, pavement around the south hangar complex and Connector Taxilanes R1 and R2 was reconstructed.

Dibble CM provided a qualified field technician on the construction site each day, who inspected the contractor’s work and prepared daily reports of construction activities. Additionally, the team maintained project files and documentation, verified and documented work quantities, monitored the contractor’s progress, coordinated quality assurance material testing, and provided project closeout services.
