Prescott Regional Airport New Terminal

Dibble CM provided construction inspection services for the new 17,997-square-foot terminal at Prescott Regional Airport (PRC). The new terminal building provides much-needed modernized facilities to accommodate the airport’s expanded operations.

The construction was divided into four phases to keep the existing terminal, adjacent hangars, airport administration building, and all airport operations functional throughout the project. These phases involved 1) construction of the new terminal building and relocation of utilities; 2) construction of the new access roadway and new terminal parking area; 3) reconstruction and realignment of a taxiway connector to access an existing hangar complex; and 4) construction of a new commercial apron. Each of these projects required significant utility relocations. The new terminal and surrounding areas were constructed in a way to accommodate future development at PRC, which will lower costs and minimize construction disruptions for future expansions.

Dibble CM provided a qualified field technician on site each day for over a year. In this role, we prepared daily written reports, maintained files and documentation related to the project, verified quantities of work completed, monitored the progress of construction in relation to the schedule, reviewed as-built redlined drawings, reviewed the contractor’s pay requests, and provided field coordination of quality assurance material testing. Dibble CM also provided project closeout services.
