N71 Bird Springs

Dibble CM provided quality control, project management, construction observation, construction inspection, and quality assurance testing for the N71 Bird Springs project for the Navajo Department of Transportation (NDOT).

The project involved pioneering a new road, paving approximately seven miles of dirt roads, and adding drainage structures. Approximately seven miles of barbed wire fencing, nine gates, and 17 cattle guards were placed along the new road to protect both drivers and livestock.

The project also included the placement of 79 permanent traffic control signs along with the proper striping. In cooperation with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority, Dibble CM ensured that the power poles, existing overhead power lines, water meters, and vaults were protected during the construction process.
