Celebrating Progress in Tempe: Supporting the City’s Award‑Winning Pavement Preservation Project

Dibble CM is proud to partner with the City of Tempe on its Pavement Preservation Project—an ongoing effort to extend roadway life, improve ride quality, and enhance safety for the community. This year, we were especially excited to celebrate the City’s recent recognition as the 2025 Best in Arizona Project Delivery Award recipient, presented by the ASU Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Southwest Technology program. Congratulations to the City of Tempe on this outstanding achievement!

Progress From Sunrise to Sunset

Recent field photos captured a full day of mill and overlay work in action, beginning before dawn and continuing steadily through the afternoon. From the first cut of the milling machines in the early morning hours to the smooth, freshly paved surfaces by day’s end, the transformation showcased the efficiency and dedication behind this important preservation effort.

Throughout each stage of construction, Dibble CM provided construction management and inspection services—verifying quality, monitoring safety, and coordinating seamlessly with contractors to ensure the project stayed on track. Our team’s involvement helped uphold the high standards that define Tempe’s roadway program.

Why Pavement Preservation Matters

Pavement preservation is more than surface‑level improvement. It plays a critical role in:

  • Extending the life of existing roads
  • Reducing long‑term maintenance costs
  • Improving safety and drivability
  • Ensuring consistent, reliable infrastructure for residents and visitors

The City of Tempe’s continued investment in proactive pavement management reflects a commitment to building infrastructure that lasts.

Dibble CM is honored to support this award‑winning program and the City’s dedication to delivering high‑quality streets for the community. We look forward to continuing our work together as more improvements roll out across Tempe.
