Chandler Heights Road Utility Relocations

Dibble CM is providing construction management and inspection services for the Chandler Heights Road Utility Relocations project. The project will move existing City of Chandler-owned wastewater, reclaimed water, and potable water facilities to prepare for the Salt River Project (SRP) undergrounding of their 230-kV transmission system in southwest Chandler. The utility relocations will clear an alignment for the proposed electrical duct banks. The City’s utility relocations will take place on Chandler Heights Road from the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) to Alma School Road; on Alma School Road from Chandler Heights Road to Lake Drive; on Lake Drive from Alma School Road to Chaparral Way; on Chaparral Way from Lake Drive to Dobson Road; and on Pinelake Way south of Ocotillo Road.

Dibble CM’s construction management activities include providing pre-construction assistance; conducting weekly construction meetings; reviewing the contractor’s critical path method (CPM) schedule and updates; reviewing and responding to contractor requests for information (RFIs); reviewing and responding to the contractor’s shop drawing submittals; preparing requests for proposal (RFP) documents; preparing field directive (FD) documents; reviewing contractor monthly payment applications; and providing public outreach services.

Project close-out support will include compiling a non-conformance list; scheduling and conducting the substantial completion inspection; preparing the substantial completion punch list; tracking the punch list; and conducting the final completion inspection. Dibble CM is also providing utility coordination support; coordinating with the contractor regarding quality assurance testing; and reviewing the contractor’s redlines on a monthly basis.
