Last month marked an important milestone at Dr. AJ Chandler Park, where crews began demolition activities and carefully removed the existing artwork from the site. Situated in the heart of the original town square envisioned by Dr. AJ Chandler—the city’s founder and the park’s namesake—this space holds deep historical and cultural significance for the community. That legacy guided every step of the early work.

The removal process was carried out with precision and respect, ensuring the artwork and surrounding features were handled with care. Preserving the character of this meaningful location remained a priority as the City of Chandler prepared the park for its next chapter.

Dibble CM is overseeing the demolition phase and will continue partnering with the City as the project transitions into the upcoming stages of park improvements.
